Born on 2 December 1982 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actor and model who is well-known for her appearances in both movies and television shows. Brandt started out her acting in an appearance in New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. After that, she landed her first American part on Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia. The actress has appeared in a variety of TV series during the past 10 years. This includes Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Brandt has played the role of Mazikeen from 2016. The show Lucifer stars Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was was raised in Cape Town South Africa and after that, she moved from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand with her family as a teenager. She began her career as a model when she appeared in print advertisements and commercials. Prior to her rise to recognition as a model, she worked in the field of retail sales as well as being an expert in recruitment for information technology. In 2009, she was cast in a New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. The first time she appeared on screen was in 2021 when she played the character of slave woman Naevia on the Starz show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character of Naevia was also played by her in the Spartacus miniseries Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star in three separate TV shows, including Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). The year 2016 saw her began to portray a bounty hunter demon called Mazikeen on the Netflix show Lucifer. The character she played on Lucifer was the most prestigious that she has played to date. She is co-starring in the show together with Tom Ellis Lauren Germany Kevin Alejandro, and D. B. Woodside.
