Josie Davis

Josie Josie Bindi Bindi AmandaJosie Davis was born in Hollywood, California. She is an actress as well as a writer. Davis started her profession as a kid actor in TV commercials. Davis was an episode regular while she was only a baby on the popular TV series, Charles In Charge. The show was the top one in the syndication ratings. Josie was nominated three times and won the respected Youth In FIlm Award for her character Sarah Powell. Davis played a lead role in numerous television movies as an adult. Davis was awarded Lifetime Movie Network Awards for her role. Davis studied acting with Paul E Richards intensively for over twenty years, despite the fact that she was able to have entered USC's prestigious Writing Program. When she was forty-four, Davis auditioned for Hollywood heavyweights, Shelley Winters, Mark Rydell and Martin Landau. Davis, who had only done one audition in the famed Actors Studio with privileges of working at the studio, was given a lifetime membership after an invitation to audition. There were more than one thousand actors who auditioned, making Davis just one of only two accepted actors during the same year.
